Justin Rummell was a 2002 Graduate of Pendleton Heights High School. He was awarded in 2002 with the honor of being an Indiana All-State football player. Justin attended, graduated, and played collegiately at Earlham College where he still holds every career and single-season passing record. Justin also has NFL experience as he was an invitee to the Detroit Lions and New York Giants Rookie Camps in 2007. Justin has even more professional experience as he spent two seasons in the AF2 with the Spokane Shock. Justin later signed with the Bricktown Brawlers of the Arena Football League. His last two professional seasons were played in the IFL in Alaska for the Fairbanks Grizzlies. In 2013 Justin was selected as one of Madison County's Top 100 Athletes of All Time. In 2016 Justin was inducted into Earlham College's Athletic Hall of Fame.

Scott Henson - Baseball Instructor

Scott Henson has coached baseball for 16 years. He was the hitting coach at Northern Nash High School in Rocky Mount, NC where he was a part of two class 3A Final Four & Sectional Championship Teams in 2007&2009. Once Scott moved back to Indiana he began coaching at Hamilton Southeastern where as Head Coach he led HSE to the Sectional Championship Game in his first 3 years, winning titles in 2013&2015. As Head Coach, he helped move over 30 players on to the college level and currently has 2 former players playing professional baseball. He is currently entering his 3rd year as an Associate Scout for the Cincinnati Reds.

Scott is from Pendleton, Indiana, and attended Pendleton Heights High School where he played for Hall of Fame Coach Bill Stoudt as all-conference and all-county catcher to win 3 Sectional Championships, 1 Regional Championship and 2 Conference Titles. He was also an All-Conference and All-County wide receiver for the football team and a letter winner in basketball. After High School, Coach Henson attended the University of Indianapolis, earning a varsity letter before transferring to IUPUI where he would finish out his college baseball career, two years as captain and earning All-District Honors in 1994. Coach Henson also spent time in the Frontier League of Professional Baseball.

Coach Henson and his wife, Alicia, have been married for 15 years and they two children. They reside in Noblesville. Coach Henson has a B.A. in History from Indiana University and a Master's of Science in Sports Management from Southern New Hampshire University.


PAT MEDLER - Softball Instructor

Pat earned a B.S. degree in Secondary Education from Purdue (1978) and a Master's Degree in Secondary Education from IUPUI (1985). He and his wife have three children, and four grandchildren. Pat is a former successful high school softball coach at Pendleton Heights High School. He led the Arabians for 13 seasons, 1987-2000, and guided them with a 275-73 record. He led teams to eight conference championships, seven sectional titles, two regional crowns and one state Final Four apperance. He was named conference Coach of the Year eight times and district Coach of the Year twice. He also served as the Indiana South All-Star Coach in 1988 and 1994. Medler was inducted into the Indiana High School Softball Coaches Hall of Fame in 2002. Pat joined the Butler University coaching staff in the spring of 2012.   He worked with Butler’s outfielders and assisted with hitting instruction.
